DAY 2 PATH1: CHIANG MAI – FANG 220 Km. Breakfast, briefing and start of the tour towards Phrao, Chiang Dao and up to Arunothai. From there we continue along the spectacular road close to Burma which takes us to Doi Angkhan, where we will visit the gardens of the Royal project, and then continue to Fang. Lunch during the day. DAY 3PATH 2: FANG – CHIANG KONG 240 Km. Breakfast, briefing and start of the second day of the tour in the border area with Burma and Laos. Departure towards Thaton to visit the beautiful Chedi Kaew and then continue to the Mae Salong mountains where we will visit the KMT Memorial and taste tea from the surrounding plantations. We continue towards Doi Thung along the challenging road and then descend into the valley and head to the Golden Triangle and finally to Chiang Kong for dinner and overnight stay. In Thailand, healthcare is advanced and at the highest international levels, but all hospitals are paid and very expensive. Driving is on the left and can cause dangerous confusion. For the first few days you need to pay more attention than usual. All roads, with rare exceptions, are asphalted and well maintained. The maximum speed limit on long-distance roads is 120 km/h, on state roads it is 90, but generally people drive at an average of 50/70 due to the endless curves. It is necessary to drive with the utmost attention because on the roads you can encounter animals and inexperienced drivers. Before departure you will be asked to complete an liability exemption.
